American Soldier Denied Service at Gas Station

You read that correctly. A uniformed soldier was denied service at a Texaco gas station in Louisiana after the employee claimed “we don’t serve your kind.” This cannot be allowed for one second more. Regardless of the legality of the situation, you don’t do that in America. That soldier puts his life on the line for all of us, you will treat him as such. We cannot allow our fellow citizens to disrespect soldiers in any manner. Stand up for this country and for our core values. My brother has done a tour in Iraq and I guarantee you if any man said that to him in my presence I would tell my brother to step aside and show that guy the American way. You don’t ever disrespect American soldiers.

Romney is Rich and Obama is Athletic - Who Cares?!

I have about had it with hearing things not relevant to the upcoming election. Who cares if Mitt Romney shipped jobs overseas to make a profit of if Obama smoked week when he was young. This is all distracting us from relevant and newsworthy topics like the economy, economy, and more importantly, the economy. We are so far in debt that I am no longer worried about my children; I’m worried about myself – 5 months from now. Encourage your peers to educate themselves on important issues and not the location of Romney’s summer home or Obama’s basketball addiction. If a man will get the job done while vacationing in Martha’s Vineyard or playing basketball in the gym – elect him! We have to get out of this slump and it is going to take some enormous spending cuts; cuts that will piss off a lot of people but will be good for America.

American Flag Banned in Massachusetts?

Did you hear what they tried to ban in Massachusetts?  They want to ban the display of the American Flag! What is going on? America is transforming before our very eyes and we are sitting here and allowing it to happen. This should give us all the more reason to be as patriotic as possible.

Intriguing Video

This video will literally change your life

http://youtu.be/jboTeS9Okak

Hmm

Liberal Logic

Simple Logic

Plain and simple it is hypocrisy.

Chief Justice Eric Holder

Wow. This gives me chills!

Thought For the Day - Guns

Possibly a new tradition.

Today's Thought: Since when do we have more of a right to healthcare than we do arms? The right to bear arms is enumerated in the Constitution of these United States.
If I want a gun but cannot afford it, shouldn't the government pick up my tab just as they do for healthcare?

Focus on What REALLY Matters

Who really cares who Kim Kardashian is dating or how much weight Mila Kunis has put on? Can you tell me the name of the Governor of Wyoming? No? How about the capitol city of Wyoming? No? Can you tell me which continent Wyoming is on?
Shut off the damn televisions and read the newspaper. Parents, be a good parent and get rid of all the video games in the house. I’m 21 and I haven’t owned a video game system since I was 11. I owned 1 and got rid of it after I realized I wasn’t reading like I used to.
Educate yourself and your children on what really matters.

Obama's Chicago

“So let’s get this straight. Chicago’s economy is collapsing. Taxes are soaring. Criminals roam the streets freely. Violence is out of control. Public schools are failing. Government employee pensions have gone rogue. Black children are helpless, hopeless and inundated by drugs and gangs, while waiting for change that has never come. And all of this is built around the most corrupt political system in the country -- with four of the last five governors serving prison time. Close your eyes. Are you sure I’m not talking about a third world country?” Courtesy of Wayne Allyn Root.
And Obama claims to organize the communities that are a major part of this problem?
You be the judge – is Obama the right man for the job?

What to Expect Come January 2013

Regardless of who is elected, people will take to the streets. Mark my words. If Romney wins, Obama supporters will riot and demand that he refuse to leave office. If Obama wins, there will be peaceful protests because Americans know what will come of this country if he gets another 4 years behind the wheel. Ever see an inexperienced 2 year old drive a racecar? It crashes, hard.

Long story short, this election means so much to every single person ON EARTH and I’m afraid that most people do not realize this frightening fact. The fate of America and the world as we know it literally rests on the fate of the November election.

The NAACP Discriminates Against Black People and Other Minorities

Did you hear what the NAACP did? The group recently held a conference where the keynote speaker was Attorney General Eric Holder. Holder spoke against the Texas voter I.D. laws and how they are discriminatory towards minorities. Really, requiring an I.D. to vote is discriminatory? Is it as discriminatory as it was for you to require photo I.D. to gain access to your convention? Were you trying to keep minorities from getting inside? How preposterous! The organization that claims to be for the advancement of colored people is discriminating against them!

How is it discriminatory to require someone to prove who they are before they vote? Go to the license branch and get your FREE I.D. before heading to the polls. The only person this law discriminates against is those who want to vote but aren’t allowed to i.e. 17 year olds, dead people, and people in the country illegally.

If someone can make it to polling stations they can make it to the license branch to get photo I.D.

Entitlement Programs Simplified

Entitlement programs for Dummies: If you think the government should support those who do not support themselves, then you also believe that parents should allow their children to mooch off them and live in their basement/garage until the day they die. Does this seem okay to you? If it does, I feel sorry for you but that is tragic.

My point is, if someone needs money to get on their feet that is fine. Government money should not be used to keep them on their feet. This is a bad road we are heading down. The success of welfare should be measured by the number of people who get off welfare, not join.

Forget Party Lines

Forget which political party you belong to. We are all Americans and we should vote for the best candidate for AMERICA. Yes, America, not ourselves. I do not claim to belong to a party unless you consider me a member of the American Party. I stand for America. Don’t vote Republican or Democrat because mommy and daddy did, research the candidates yourself and find out who best suits the needs of the country.

When Do We Stop Spending?

Regardless of political views, as educated Americans we have to acknowledge the fact that we cannot continue to spend at current rates. Spending money in one area HAS to lead to cuts in another. We simply cannot keep up with the rising debt. The numbers are so large that they are literally unfathomable for most Americans. Just like in our households, if we cannot afford something we do not buy it. Right now I want a motorcycle but I cannot afford it and won’t be able to when I have to pay off student loans. Why should the government not have to check itself like we do?  We can spend money on healthcare and welfare but cuts will have to be made in education and vice versa. This debt will not go away; we have to pay it back eventually. Unless your agenda is to ruin these United States, vote to cut the spending IMMEDIATELY.

Things to Consider in the November Presidential Election

1. Stop thinking about our generation and our generation only. What kind of world do we want our kids to live in? Should we focus on gay marriage and equal pay or a multi-trillion dollar debt? We have to have priorities.

2. What matters most to YOU? Yes, a little contradictory to what I just said, but at least consider yourself after the next generation. Does gay marriage and marijuana matter more to you than taxes?

3. Are we going to stick to our Constitution or only use it as a guideline? In my opinion, it is the supreme law of the land and should not be deviated from. Let the Supreme Court interpret it without political interference (easier said than done).

4. Lastly, as I am supposed to be working, where has our sense of patriotism gone? If everyone treated everyday like July 4th or Christmas, we would be the greatest country on Earth. I believe we are the greatest country on Earth, but for how much longer?

George Soros: Should Americans Worry?

First, if you do not know who George Soros is, do some research. He is the man behind the Democratic Party. He hates freedom and loves ruining countries. He ruins countries like drunk college students ruin iPhones and he takes great pride in that. Now if one of your outlandish hobbies was decimating countries, wouldn't you go for the big dog eventually? Yes, and so would George. And right now he is gunnin' for the United States. He is the financial backbone to Obama and his entire regime; this includes state level politics. Soros claims the greatest year of his life was spent taking property from Jewish prisoners in 1944. Yes. reread that sentence. Why does the media not speak of this billionaire ($20B) political backer. He owns stake in most media outlets and he is very powerful. Of course Romeny has too much money because he is a Republican but Obama can have billionaire supporters who are ignored. Obama is quick to accuse his opponents of buying elections while he is taking BILLIONS from Soros. Soros will buy the 2012 election if he has the chance. Let's bring this man to light and expose him and his political puppets for who they wruly are. Soros stands to make a ton, and I do mean a ton (tens of billions if not hundreds of billions) off the failure of America and he can accomplish this with 4 more years. If you love America and freedom, vote Obama out of office and vote his friends out of their offices too. They will go to great lengths to ruin this country.

New Book

I'm starting a new book titled "Justices of the Indiana Supreme Court". My boss gave it to me last Thursday and I hope to finish all 467 pages by next weekend.

First blog from my iPhone

This will be brief as I'm just wanting to post something from my phone to see how it turns out.

Just a quick thought: would you rather have a government seeking more power over the American people or a government seeking less power over the American people?

Personally I would vote for less power. I think individuals and the private sector have always been more efficient and successful than government.

Entitlements and Personal Responsibility

I almost feel the need to define personal responsibility based on the number of people that appear to not know what those two words even mean. If you live your life smoking 2 packs per day, eating fast food for 2 meals per day, drinking soda daily, only to go home and sit on your ass in front of the television, you do not deserve ANY tax money to cover your medical bills. You are not entitled to that money no matter how poor you are. Now, if you take it upon yourself to eat healthy foods regularly, exercise, and maintain proper health, and you are still morbidly obese then I sympathize with you. Enough on that for now.

Last week I was at a local Marsh buying groceries to make lunch and dinner for the upcoming week. Yes, I am a college student using my own money to buy groceries to make my own healthy lunch. McDonalds would be cheaper as would a shorter lifespan. Anyways, the two women in front of me had a cart half-full of reduced price beer. Nothing wrong with this picture yet. Here it comes...they then proceded to pay with said beer using a food stamp card. I love beer just as much as any American, so everyone please join me and saying you are welcome to these women for supporting their alcohol consumption and their children's now nutrient depleted diet. Let's take those cards and put a few dozen restrictions. Maybe only allow the purchase of healthy foods?

Finally, how about this whole unemployment thing? For the past couple of summers I have worker with my father at the junk yard. I see a lot of people come through there that work hard for their money just to get by. I have enormous respect for those types of people - nothing more respectable than coming home sweaty after a hard days labor. Now, one conversation I had with a man named Matt Wycoff changed my perspective on this. My dad, being the saint that he is, always offers to help anyone who walks through the doors of his shop. Don't believe me - try it. Dad hired Matt to work the shop after he found out Matt's family could use the money. Matt didn't last long - working for my dad is laborous and not for anyone without a solid work ethic. Even after quitting, my dad continued to offer Matt employment as Dad knew he needed it. Matt consistently refused. So I had to find out why the heck he didn't want a job. Matt said the work was hard and he was making the same amount "junkin'" (that is slang for collecting recyclable metals and selling them to metal recyclers like my father). I often dealt with Matt's payment directly and knew this could not be so. I asked Matt how that was possible knowing exactly how much money he received for every visit to the shop. His response: Oh, this junkin' money is for beer, I collect unemployment. Isn't unemployment for those actively seeking a job after being laid off? Matt quit and was not seeking another job. Why? He receives the same amount from the government as he would in a paycheck from my father. As you can see here, unemployment clearly DESTROYED one job. How many more cases are there like this one?

Touchy Subject

Homosexuals. No reason to keep you waiting. As a Catholic I do not agree with it - I think it is wrong. As an American, is it the government's responsibility to regulate it? I'm not quite sure. They can regulate gay marriage at the state level but they cannot interfere with one's personal choice. However, the argument that homosexuals are born that way and should be allowed to live that way is hilarious. Riddle me this: should a child born with two heads be left that way because he/she was born that way? What about an infant born addicted to methanphetamine? How about a child born with cancer? Should we leave them be because they were born that way? Doesn't seem right to me. If one chooses to live that lifestyle then that is perfectly fine by me - you have my prayers. However, if you want to argue that someone is born that way, as a moral society it is our responsibility to assist them. I do not think this is the government's job but rather our job as Americans. I will touch on this subject more but I wanted to write a little more before I board my plane to Charlotte.

Headed to Florida

I write this post as I wait patiently for my flight from Indianapolis to Charlotte and then on to Tampa for a few days. On my way to the airport I heard a "political analyst" criticisizing Mitt Romney and his somewhat vast wealth. Really? The man struck it rich through capitalism. Did he move some investments overseas? Yes, he is smart investor! Why leave your investment somewhere so heavily regulated and taxed that it is not worth the trouble. Mitt, do not apologize for being smarter than the average Joe. With this type of experience, I see Mitt as soemone who will enter office with an agenda to make these United States more attractive to investors than any other country. As of now, we are not the most attrctive option so please do not critique investors who wish to turn a profit on their investment. Now, in regards to this issue, had Mr. Obama made the US of A a more attractive investment location, he would have my support on this issue. The reality is he has not made it more attractive. Increasing taxes above the current level will not bring companies or investments here! Why would a country move from one location to another only to pay higher taxes? My solution? Hopefully it comes across to you as simple as it is in my head right now: incentivize companies to relocate and invest in these United States by offering tax relief if they invest here now. For example: if Chevrolet decided it wanted to move its truck assembly plant in Mexico to Arizona, the government should give Chevy a huge tax break in return for this investment. If Chevy agreed to keep the plant open for 20 years, waive the taxes on the plant for 10 years; simply half the time they agree to stay - no exceptions. If Mitt Romney would rather hold his money in an American bank, that bank should be eager to work with Mitt to get him to keep his money here. If we do not make ourselves marketable, do not be surprised or upset when investors invest elsewhere! In conclusion, Mr. Obama is rather quick to criticize Romney's immense wealth while remaining silent over the wealth of his supporters. Mr. Obama, what do you have to say about Warren Buffett - the WORLD'S RICHEST MAN?

What to Expect

Since my sophomore year of college I have been very interested in politics, law, government, and anything related that would put most people to sleep. I tend to rant about relevant political issues and I do have strong right tendencies. I do not call myself a Republican - I am an American. I want what is best for this country; not a certain race, gender, religion...whatever. I am also not a fan of talking about race...I find someone's skin color as equally relevant as someones hair color, eye color, and hair line. Your're born that way, folks. Finally, I would be surprised if I ever talk about sports as I am really not a fan of any team.

New to This...

This is something I hope to use on occasion when I feel the need to vent over current political situations. Many do not agree with my positions but that is to be expected today. Also, my grammer ain't no good so please refrain from highlighting simple grammatical mistakes - commas are my enemy. Lastly, please leave me feedback or email me and I promise to read anything that comes my way (thank you, iPhone).
